Who are we, and why are we doing this ? Good question.
Cuzco II Ventures LTD is a small group of experienced US real estate investors and developers who got tired of all the unreasonable challenges imposed by local governments that prevent the average investor/risk taker from making a fair profit for their time, experience and knowledge.
With over 50 years combined experience in US land development, building, contracting, hotel construction, hotel ownership and operation, the founders realized that much better opportunities and profits are being made in other markets that were not located on US soil.
The CEO of Cuzco II Ventures LTD, having very strong family ties in Peru, discovered that the Hotel market in Lima and Cuzco, was grossly under built, and unprepared to accommodate the current tourism traffic, never mind the amazing growth taking place in the tourism industry. After almost 30 years in the US as a successful Builder/Developer/Hotel Operator, he grew tired of the growing risks and choking governmental regulation that gets worse each year in the US.
After the recent housing boom, and the subsequent real estate crash, he decided to take his group South, to apply their talents in a budding market, where profit and prosperity are unhindered by the unfavorable and unfair dark cloud of regulation and economic mismanagement that we have seen in the US in recent times.
South America is such a place. Peru in particular holds opportunities that are unmatched anywhere in the world.
Our group discovered Cuzco and we were excited to find this city of half a million people, besieged by almost 2.5 million tourists annually ! Europeans, Asians, Japanese, and Americans are drawn by the areas rich history and incredible ancient ruins.
Due to the high density, and lack of availability of land, the city enjoys one of the highest hotel occupancy rates in the world.
The current project, which is under construction, is a 73 room 5 star hotel property that will be the shining star of hotels in the Cuzco market once complete. The hotel will have such amenities as a spa, restaurant/bar, oversize rooms with such luxuries as piped in oxygen, internet, satellite TV, mini bar, and other qualities you would expect to find in a modern hotel
The project was entirely funded by US Investors just like yourself who are tired of the poor returns offered in our market.
The founders have taken investment from family members, friends, church members, vendors, associates, and other private individuals with whom we have prior relationships. We take our project very seriously and plan to build several more.
The incredible interest in the project has created an overwhelming response and has spawned Cuzco II Ventures LTD to look for more. The current hotel is slated to open sometime in late Summer 2008, and at least 2 other projects are in the planning stage for development into 2009 and beyond.
